Well hi there, boys and girls.
My webmeister (Stephen Talkovich) has been after me to update ya'll on current happenings. Soooo...
The biggest thing, of course, has been becoming a grandfather. Julian is so adorable. He just melts me! Honeybee and Danyale doing well. A more beautiful family, I've never known. (Photos on Myspace).
Since my return from England in August, and in between touring around Florida, I've been going great guns on the new album of songs. I'm in the final stages now and I think it's turning our really well. Eleven tracks written by me and one very beautiful spiritual.
All these wonderful musicians and singers in and out of The Monster In The Basement. Tommy Dean, Kristin Markiton, Kate Kwik and Carol Statella-Harris of late. It's been especially exciting working with my son Dan. He's added amazing vocal parts and percussion. We're thinkin' we'll call it "Jumpin' Genre". A lot of different styles represented. This one's gonna be great for home grown, folks!
My sister Shirley is appearing in a Showtime special called "Naked On The Inside". It's a marvelous film and she is wonderful in it. Very moving. Don't miss it!
